Preliminary Card

BOBBY STACK vs. DERRICK BURNSED

Round 1

Stack stuffs a takedown and cracks Burnsed with a right hand in the first meaningful exchange of the bout. Burnsed lands a nice right hand of his own that backs Stack up. Burnsed barrels in on Stack and bullies him to the mat with a body lock but can’t keep him there. Stack gets back up and clinches Burnsed along the cage but isn’t really doing much else. Stack is in control with double underhooks but referee Kim Winslow breaks them because of a lack of action. Stack tries a high kick but Burnsed side-steps it and blasts him with a straight right hand. Stack changes levels and takes him to the floor. Burnsed works his way back to his feet but Stack takes him right back down with a double. Burnsed shifts his hips and tries to work an armbar from the bottom but runs out of time after being stacked by Stack.

Round 2

Burnsed wobbles Stack with a head kick to start off the second. After being sent to a knee, Stack fought off a Burnsed attack and took the fight back to the ground where he could regain his wits. Burnsed fought his way back to his feet and nearly took Stack’s back but the wrestler scrambled back into top position. Burnsed tries to escape from his opponent’s clutches but Stack repeatedly takes him down. Burnsed finally gets a break when he gets a takedown of his own. He quickly slides into mount and works for a head and arm choke. Stack defends well and makes it to the end of the round.

Round 3

Stack gets the best of the initial exchange, scoring with a nice uppercut. Burnsed fires back but misses everything. Stack fires into another shot but slips off to the side and Burnsed puts him on his back. Burnsed takes the mount and then the back of Stack but gets too high and is swept. Stack tries to pass but Burnsed isolates an arm and rolls for the submission. Stack escapes and rises to his feet only to be met by an unchecked right hand to the jaw. It doesn’t even budge him. Burnsed looks to throw more hands but Stack changes levels again and plants him along the cage. Both fighters are spent with less than a minute left in the bout. Burnsed gets back to his feet one more time but Stack grabs a single and runs the pipe. He finishes the fight on top and in control.

The official scores are 29-28, 27-30 and 29-28, giving Bobby Stack a split-decision.

Gareth Joseph vs. Yancy Medeiros

Round 1

Joseph blasts Medeiros with a hard low kick to get things underway. He retreats from an advancing Medeiros and lands a nice right hand. Medeiros keeps up the pursuit and scores with a hard combination of punches. He pushes Joseph against the cage and lands another pair of shots. Joseph gets back on the offensive with a hard left hand after pushing Medeiros against the cage. Medeiros finds his range with the right hand and cracks Joseph on consecutive advances with his power hand. Medeiros is stalking Joseph who is circling around the cage. Joseph stops just long enough to land a low-kick and a leaping right hand. Joseph has employed a one shot and get out strategy while Medeiros is loading up looking for the big bomb. Joseph shoots with just seconds left in the round but he is rebuffed.

Round 2

Joseph is back up against the cage again to kick off the second. Medeiros is still searching for a single big shot but Joseph streaks straight at him with wild punches he easily avoids. Medeiros steps back into the pocket and looks to engage. He drops Joseph with a perfectly placed punch. As he tries to make it back to his feet, Medeiros lands a fight-finishing right hand that forces referee Jason Herzog step in at 1:19. The knockout win keeps Medeiros slate clean.

Winner By KO Yancy Medeiros

BRETT BERGMARK
vs. VAGNER ROCHA

Round 1

Bergmark hammers Rocha with a clubbing right hand that gets his attention just as the fighters reach the center of the ring. Rocha tries to close the distance but is clipped again. Rocha shoots but Bergmark sprawls. Rocha keeps working and finally gets the takedown. Bergmark searches for submissions from his back but eventually gets back to his feet off a failed Rocha pass. Bergmark throws a low kick but is forced to sprawl again when Rocha shoots another takedown. Again, though he originally stuffs the attempts, Bergmark is put on his back by a grinding Rocha with 30 seconds left. Rocha can’t advance or score from the top as the final seconds tick off the clock.

Round 2

Bergmark drops a stiff right hand on Rocha. He slips a straight right and cracks him with another overhand. Rocha clinches and Bergmark folds him over with a knee to the midsection. Rocha press forward in the clinch and Bergmark tries to stave him off with a cross-face before hip tossing him to the mat. He passes Rocha’s guard and lands a big right before standing back up. Rocha is slow to rise but referee John McCarthy steps in and allows him to get up unimpeded. Bergmark is in complete control of the round. He is stalking a fading Rocha and lands a big flurry right at the 10 second warning.

Round 3

The pace has really slowed down in the third. Two minutes in and there is little to note in the way of action. Rocha shoots in and Bergmark grabs onto a head and arm clinch but can’t find an angle for a choke. The fighters are trading sloppy, tired punches with little steam on them. Bergmark is finding the mark more often and finally hurts Rocha with a right hand that puts him on his back. Bergmark has no intention of following him to the mat and walks away. McCarthy implores him to get to his feet but he takes his time. Bergmark sinks him again with a right hand. It is apparent he is more weary than hurt but Bergmark has clearly taken control nonetheless. Rocha slowly gets up again and is in full retreat when Bergmark lands yet another right hand. Rocha looks at McCarthy pleadingly but is told to get back up. He gets a break when the final horn sounds.

The official scores are 29-28, 30-27 and 30-26, all for Bergmark, the winner by unanimous decision.

Chris Cope vs. Ron Keslar

Round 1

Keslar hits a takedown and passes straight up the middle to mount. Cope tries to use the cage to roll over but ends up giving his back to Keslar who locks on the body triangle. He tries to snake his arm under the chin but Cope is defending the rear naked-choke well. Keslar keeps getting his arms peeled off and can’t find the submission. He comes close but Cope goes with a two-on-one defense and gets out of danger again. Cope rolls over and nearly escapes but Keslar takes the mount and Cope gives his back right up again after a punch or two. Cope has no problems staying out of submission danger throughout the round despite spending the majority of the frame with Keslar on his back.

Round 2

Keslar avoids a punch from Cope and slips underneath for another takedown. He immediately worms his way to Cope’s back. After another minute of stalemate, Cope is able to turn in and set up in Keslar’s guard. His top position time is short. Keslar easily escapes back to his feet and is greeted with a kick to the groin. Keslar is winded and looks to be using the break to catch his breath. He is ready to go now. Keslar shoots and is stuffed. Cope answers with punches and a spinning back-kick to the head. A visibly gassed Keslar drops for a low-single and is blanketed by Cope who punches his foe as he clings to a single. Keslar is not responding to referee Kim Winslow’s instructions and though he doesn’t look to be in real trouble she steps in and ends the bout at 4:32. Keslar really just looked tired and not hurt but he was not heeding the instructions of the referee and she called the bout.

Chris Cope wins by technical knockout at 4:32 of the second round.

JOSH THOMSON vs.
PAT HEALY

Round 1

Thomson throws a one-two and the fighters’ heads clash. It doesn’t look like either man was cut. Thomson gets a quick single-leg takedown and Healy springs back up to his feet. Healy attempts a body-lock trip and fails. He follows up with digging-right hands to the body. Healy drops levels and Thomson is all over him as he transitions to the back. Thomson is working for an armbar, and he spins to his back to finish it. The arm is extended to its limit, but Healy finds a way to escape. From the guard, Thomson locks on a triangle choke and transitions to another armbar. Again it’s tight, but Healy is able to free his limb. Thomson stands and Healy suplexes him back to the canvas. Healy moves to the back of Thomson, where he looks for a rear-naked choke. Healy attempts to move to the mount and Thomson scrambles into a heel hook. Healy escapes and both fighters are back on their feet. From the clinch, Thomson trips Healy to the floor and begins to work from side control.

Round 2

Thomson connects with a right hand and two sharp low kicks. Healy switches levels and secures a strong double-leg takedown. Thomson turns his back in an attempt to stand, and Healy hops onto his back. Healy puts both hooks in and begins to pepper the head with his left hand. Thomson is able to roll over and Healy resumes punching, but now with his right hand and from half guard. Healy crossfaces with his right arm and punches the head with his left. Healy gets some nice work in with his right hand, too. Thomson has had enough of the punishment, and he stands. Healy trips him to the floor and works on the right foot with a heel hook. Thomson is warned by referee “Big” John McCarthy for throwing 10-6 elbows to the thigh. Thomson gets to guard and locks on a tight armbar. Again it’s very tight, but Healy is able to slip out. Healy resumes punching from the top, and he’s scoring.

Round 3

Thomson lands a right hand and stuffs a shot. Thomson scores with another right. Healy lands a right cross that dings off Thomson's forehead. Two slow left hooks for Healy land. Both man landed inconsequential single punches through the first two minutes. Healy gets the collar tie against the fence, but Thomson escapes. Healy drives a single leg and finishes a takedown, but is reversed as Healy goes for the back. Thomson away from Healy and gets a rear waistlock. Thomson gets a body triangle with 90 seconds to go, and threatens with a rear-naked choke. Healy's face is changing color, but "Bam Bam" continues to pry on Thomson's elbow and try to escape. Healy turns over and succumbs to the choke at 4:27 of the third round, giving Josh Thomson the third-round submission win.

Thomson wins by submission (rear naked choke) at 4:27 of the third round.

StrikeForce MiddleWeight Women's Championship

(C) CRIS CYBORG vs. JAN FINNEY

Round 1

Finney lands a good right hook to start proceedings, forcing Cyborg to flurry back. Finney lands another clean right hands that makes Santos close the distance and clinch up. After they break, Cyborg lands a hard right hands, and just continues to throw heavy leather, dropping Finney to her knees. As Finney regains her footing, she walks facefirst into a Cyborg right knee that puts her on her knee again. Great chin from Finney shown so far. Up against the fence, Santos lands another wicked right corss that puts Finney on the deck, clinging to a single leg. Cyborg smashes away with hammerfists to the side of her head, until she pulls guard. Referee Kim Winslow stands the fighters and Cyborg blasts her with another right hand. Cyborg pounces with punches and bunches and hits the back of the head at the end of a flurry. Winslow deducts a point for the foul. Finney is given time to recover and her face is all busted up. The fighters trade punches briefly and Cyborg presses her prey against the fencing. The Brazilian steps backwards to gain a punching distance and she delivers. The fighters trade and Cyborg bullies her with straight rights. Finney collapses to the floor and Cyborg tees of with her right hand. Cyborg looks at Winslow, but the referee does nothing. Finney is turtled and Cyborg is showing no mercy. The round ends with Finney getting beat on while attempting a single.

Round 2

A battered Finney begins round two with another nice right hand, which only seems to rouse Cyborg again. Cyborg now landsing hard jabs, and shrugs off a Finney takedown. Cyborg pelts Finney with right hands as Finney sits on her knees. Cyborg kneels into knee on belly against the fence, hammerfisting Finney, before settling into side control. Cyborg stands up and gets away, and again resumes landing jabs and right hands on Finney. Cyborg again gets double underhooks against the fence. Cyborg lands a three-punch combo and clinches again. Referee Kim Winslow breaks the pair. As they resume, Cyborg again lands a volley of punches, forcing Finney to the fence. Cyborg grabs the clinch and plants a vicious knee into the guts of Finney that drops "Cuddles" to the canvas, and flurries with strikes until Winslow steps in to halt the one-sided beating.

Cristiane "Cyborg" Santos retains her Strikeforce title at 2:56 of the second round.

THEE CO-MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING...

SCOTT SMITH vs. CUNG LE

Round 1

Smith charges earlier but is immediately dropped with a right hook by Le. Smith recovers quickly and pushes Le against the cage. Smith lands some punches to the gut of Le against the cage before both fighters are centered again. Smith misses with a violent, powerful overhand right that Le counters with a jab. Le connects with a solid straight combo that dazes Smith. A stunned Smith goes for the takedown but Le sprawls. From the sprawled position, Le lands multitudinous blows to Smiths exposed midsection. Smith squirms to his feet and and lands a body kick before they center. Le again lands a few blows that drop Smith and follows with some more body shots to end the round.

WWE's Fatal 4 Way Fight Card & Preview ENCORE!!

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!

WWE's Fatal 4 Way
Countdown

ENCORE PRESENTATION

Slam Wrestling

http://slam.canoe.ca/Slam/Wrestling/home.html

http://www.wwe.com

Live tonight on pay per view. Here is a very special look at the matches that you will see tonight!! Keep in mind that if you can't see it I will be Tweeting LIVE on the King Jay on Twitter page. You don't have to have an account to view the page as it is public. Click the link below to see the page & refresh every so often to see my thoughts & results!!

Fatal Four Way brings an occasional match concept into the spotlight for June's pay-per-view.

This one-pin-to-win bout is a little different than what we saw, for example, at WrestleMania 2000, which was elimination style. Depending on your perspective, this either increases the intensity with each attempt at victory, or decreases the intrigue.

Either way, Fatal Four Way should be an interesting watch with long matches (given that only five bouts have been announced). Let's take a look at the card.

Quick View Of Matches & Countdown Below:

WWE United States Title Match

(C) The Miz vs. R-Truth

WWE Intercontinental Title Match

(C) Kofi Kingston vs. Drew McIntyre

Divas Title Fatal 4 Way Match

(C) Eve Torres vs. Maryse vs. Gail Kim vs. Alicia Fox

THEE CO-MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING...

World Heavyweight Title Fatal 4 Way Match

(C) Jack Swagger vs. The Big Show vs. Rey Mysterio vs. CM Punk

THEE MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING...

WWE Title Match Fatal 4 Way

(C) John Cena vs. Sheamus vs. Edge vs. Randy Orton

WWE's Fatal 4 Way Countdown!!

WWE United States Title Match

(C) The Miz vs. R-Truth

I don't mind that Miz won the belt on Monday since his win helped establish that the title can change hands easily in an FFW bout. Truth has to be careful or he'll become this generation's Koko B. Ware. I get the feeling Miz keeps the belt and moves into a proper, long feud with former tag partner John Morrison.

WWE Intercontinental Title Match

(C) Kofi Kingston vs. Drew McIntyre

I'm getting pretty bored with this feud. I don't know what it is but Kingston and MacIntyre just don't gel. The outside storyline with Teddy Long is already old too. I'm guessing we'll see Matt Hardy interfere here, giving MacIntyre the DQ win which, as he'll show immediately after the match in a letter from McMahon, means that Kofi loses the belt.

Divas Title Fatal 4 Way Match

(C) Eve Torres vs. Maryse vs. Gail Kim vs. Alicia Fox

I like that WWE is putting Alicia in the mix here because she does have the ability to go in the ring. Eve's become more impressive and has shown some creativity in the ring. That leaves the two Canucks though, and unfortunately Gail's really sliding now and Maryse's in-ring development has halted a bit (as has her character since she hasn't been given the mic in weeks!). I could see Fox taking the title, but Eve's proving to be pretty valuable and the more title time she gets, the better off she'll be.

THEE CO-MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING...

World Heavyweight Title Fatal 4 Way Match

(C) Jack Swagger vs. The Big Show vs. Rey Mysterio vs. CM Punk

The Undertaker/Kane story has superseded this title match and you can't help but expect that Kane will insert himself into the match one way or another. The likeliest scenario is that the belt will change hands here rather than in the Raw bout, which begs the question as to who to put the title on. Punk always excels with the belt, but Rey and Show haven't been the top dog in years. I get the sneaking suspicion that we'll see Mysterio walk out with the gold, setting up a rematch in July, while Punk moves into a short program with Kane and Show... well, he'll be Show.

THEE MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING...

WWE Title Match Fatal 4 Way

(C) John Cena vs. Sheamus vs. Edge vs. Randy Orton

Orton and Edge seem to be headed to a blow-off match at Summerslam to end their feud (2/3 falls would be a nice way to conclude), which leaves Cena and Sheamus. I could see WWE hotshotting the belt back to the Irish lad to set up a mini feud until Triple H comes back, but the Fed seems hell bent on making Cena the victor whenever the odds are stacked against him. The logical thing would be for Cena to pin Edge, giving Sheamus the claim that he was never pinned and thus deserves a one-on-one match in July, so let's go with that scenario.

Remember in this pay per view the 3 title matches that are in a Fatal 4 Way which means the first person to score a pinfall will be the champion. The champion doesn't have to be involved in the decision. The champion only has a 25% chance of keeping their title!

Folks just a reminder for you that you can check back here at about 11:45pm EST for all the results and fallouts from the night that was. Who will be champion?? As we begin the countdown to the biggest blockbuster of the summer. It's WWE SummerSlam!!

Thank you for joining us here for this special look at WWE's Fatal 4 Way. Again it's LIVE on pay per view all the fun begins at 8pm EST!! This has been a presentation of King Jay Entertainment and this is what he world is watching!!
